2. Just because it’s trending doesn’t mean it’s for you.
The product that “everyone” is using? Might be the one that sends your skin into a spiral.
What works for a 22-year-old with oily skin might not work for your postpartum barrier or perimenopausal skin. Don’t let marketing convince you that you need more. Let your skin guide you toward what it actually needs — and ignore the rest.
3. Consistency beats intensity.
You can’t out-mask a week of neglect. And no treatment — no matter how advanced — can replace the results of daily consistency.
Think of your routine like brushing your teeth: small, steady habits that prevent bigger problems later. Even if it’s not perfect. Even if it’s rushed. Done regularly > Done perfectly.
4. Don’t skip skincare because you’re tired — just move it earlier.
If you usually crash the second you hit the couch (same), try doing your skincare earlier — when you change into your comfy clothes. Not right before bed. Before the exhaustion hits.
That way, when you’re half-asleep under a blanket, you don’t have to get back up. It’s already done.
